Chapter 08

Limit

Limit order. A signed price. The trade should happen at that price or better, and not before. Ophis settles it. RocketSwap does not run the book.

Limit is a signed order settled by Ophis, a CoW-style batch exchange. RocketSwap does not custody the order.

  1. You type a sell amount and a limit price: how much of the buy token you want for each token you sell. The current quote is shown next to that price. The order you sign uses your price.
  2. You approve the Ophis vault relayer, 0xB52C38097c19cd38238c62DD36027a7918eFa890, for that order’s sell amount.
  3. You sign EIP-712 typed data. The signature is the order. Settlement is a separate transaction from their relayer.

Cancel is another signature over their cancel domain, from the same panel, for an order that has not settled. A filled order cannot be cancelled. This path is one order at one price. It is not a schedule. A schedule is TWAP.
