A quote is an off-chain comparison of routes. The transaction is the part that moves value. This book separates those two, and it separates the four ways a trade can be sent: a swap you submit, a TWAP the contract schedules, a limit or gasless order you sign, and a recurring timer that only runs while the tab is open.

The fee, in one line

Protocol fee is 15 bps of the sell token. fee = sell × 15 / 10_000. If the sell token is 🚀, that fee is burned in the transaction. Otherwise it is transferred to the treasury and held for a 🚀 buyback and burn. The full version is Fees.
